CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SUMMER 2018 ISSUE
Even for a writer, the mind is but one instrument of the creative process. Moving beyond a focus on aesthetics, our bodies can take us to great heights, give us pleasure or pain, show us our strengths and weakness. These differences reveal to us the beauty of diversity.
With this in mind, the Summer 2018 issue of Apofenie will focus on the body. This theme encourages a wide variety of submissions dealing with, but not limited to: sexuality, illness, violence and suffering, and resistance.
Please send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submissions should specify genre and include a three-sentence biographical statement. Submissions must reflect the quarterly’s theme in order for consideration.
We accept simultaneous submissions as long as we are notified immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere. For translations, we require a statement that you have received the author's and/or the publisher's permission to submit it for publication. We will not consider previously-published work. All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
