CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SPRING 2019 ISSUE
It is not a pleasant feeling whatsoever—that of helplessness, anger—when we witness something vile or read about it in the papers. And indeed, it seems like our media and perhaps even our world view are saturated with horrible events, bad news, and near impenetrable pessimism. But there is always a glimmer of hope that a bad deed will not go unpunished, that somehow, there are powers beyond our understanding that will carry us through...
Please send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submissions should specify genre and include a three-sentence biographical statement. Submissions must reflect the quarterly’s theme in order for consideration.
We accept simultaneous submissions as long as we are notified immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere. For translations, we require a statement that you have received the author's and/or the publisher's permission to submit it for publication. We will not consider previously-published work. All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
Poetry: 5 poems maximum
Fiction/Nonfiction: 5,000 words maximum
Visual Art: 5 pieces maximum
